whitesox.com says CSN+...

is that the same as regular Comcast Sports Net, which, at least on my cable in Chicago, is 37? or is it a different channel?

Different channel. It'll be on CLTV.

Depends on where you are at...IIRC, plus is either CLTV or some local channel. I know in Champaign it's on Ch. 21 the NASA station. I've always wanted to say this...so, check your local listings...

Channel 40 for me. Comcast Cable, Northwest 2&3.

CSN is also 37 in my area, so we may have the same station numbers. If that's the case, CSN+, or CLTV is 38 here.

AWWWW YEAH! I never would have figured that out. Channel 21 doesn't even show up on my TV Guide channel. Right now they're talking about NASA. Haha. Who'da thunk?

That sucks. Extra innings will have the Twins broadcast again. I hate Blyleven and that other schmo.

I don't get CSN+ in Lafayette, but Bulls games are blacked out due to Pacer games, so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping to get the Sox game tonight.

Still waiting to see if it'll be on here. I don't have CLTV anymore, but we did get FSN+ games last year on the public access channel. :(:

I'm pretty sure that RCN has the "+" on channel 51. That is the old channel for RCN, and now it is the "+".

C'mon, you have to hand it to Blyleven for admitting on last night's broadcast that he sometimes drinks too much and pisses himself...

If you live in the Bridgeport neighborhood like me, CLTV is on Channel 10 for Comcast Cable viewers.

Up north, CSN+ is on CLTV, channel 53 on Comcast. Wish the game was in HD...the graphics had the HD indicators/icons and HD was promoted during the game but CSN+ should be on one of the open HD channels (i.e., channel 208). Instead it was on CLTV.

Putting it on CLTV allows for a broader audience to tune into the game, hence better ratings. Many more people have CLTV than those higher channels.

Agreed. But the game should be available in HD as well. There are "open" HD channels reserved for such purposes. This way, those who have a regular tv can watch the standard broadcast and those with HD sets can watch the HD broadcast.

As you know, this is how its done for HD games anyway when there isn't a conflict such as a Bulls game.

Today (Wednesday's game vs. Detroit) doesn't appear to be on the Extra Innings package, or Fox Sports Detroit, nor is it on AM1000 thanks to da Bull...

so... those of us on this side of the lake are gonna be forced to listen to a Ti-Girl's affiliate it would appear...

Feh.  :bs:

Hmm... you might want to check again. I checked my guide this morning to see what time the game starts and it was listed on my Extra Innings package as starting at 4PM PST on channel 673 I believe. However, I'm on the left coast, so maybe it works differently out here.

I'd suggest checking again though - I'm pretty sure Extra Innings plays the same games across the country.
