The Sox celebrated the second annual Major League Baseball Jackie Robinson Day on Friday, but Guillen also saw it as an opportunity to joke with reserve infielder Willie Harris.

Harris and Robinson are the only two major leaguers to come from Cairo, Ga.

"It's too bad the only good player from Cairo was him and not Willie Harris," Guillen said. "I asked Willie, 'What happened to you?' Jackie didn't leave anything for Willie

Well when you have a Jackie Robinson and a Wee Willie Harris, they overshadow everyone else to the point that it seems as if no one else existed.

Yeah, I like Willie alot though, I hope he breaks out, even though that won't be easy as a Utility man.

Dude, Ozzie man, hope willie has thick skin because knowing how much he whines and ozzie's penchant for taking digs we can watch this turn into a debacle. I know the article didn't indicate it but still, just sounds like the type of swipe you don't take (in fun or not) at the guy you just demoted to utility infield and have a history of bickering with and calling out in the papers.

That's funny because during sunday's game ESPN had a graphic saying Willie Harris was the only other player from Cairo. What is wrong with ESPN when fans like us can access information better than them. I will no longer believe anything I read on ESPN.

At least Willie can say he is the second best player from Cairo. Riles stats in 9 seasons, 48 HR, 20 SB, and a .254 lifetime average.

How long did he live there. Maybe he was born there and moved when he was really young.

"Lighten up Francis"

Even The Big Hurt is not immune to being teased and it's all good for the clubhouse: "I'm happy for the ribbing"

"They've been giving me a hard time, saying 'Stay away, stay away, everything's going great,'" he said. "I'm happy for the ribbing. That's part of it.

"These are my teammates and I wish them well. And I want a ring. I don't care how we get it, we need to get a ring."
