11 YEARS AGO TODAY (April 15, 1994):
Beloit Brewers P Kelly Wunsch strikes out five batters in the 3rd inning of Beloit's Class A Midwest League game against the Springfield Sultans. Two of the five reach base after striking out on pitches that get away from the catcher. Wunsch loses, but his mitt ends up in Cooperstown.

I saw Kelly pitch the other night for the Dodgers. He was a good guy...very nice. Good tidbit of info though.
