This just posted:

WSI (Chicago): 1) Is it true you only take questions from ESPN INsiders, who pay?; and 2) What's your assessment of the White Sox? Thanks.

http://espn-att.starwave.com/i/sn2.gif Jerry Crasnick: (12:26 PM ET ) WSI,

No -- all questioners are welcome. As for the White Sox, they're an interesting darkhorse team. They haven't hit much yet, but that rotation of Garcia, Buerhle, El Duque, Contreras and Garland is pretty good.

oh no - does "dark horse" mean we're no longer "under the radar?"

Here is another post that I know you wil all enjoy!

Rest of USA (Outside of New England): Let ESPN know that we are sick of NY-BOS being shown on television. A majority wanted to see Washington's home opener last night

http://espn-att.starwave.com/i/sn2.gif Jerry Crasnick: (12:39 PM ET ) Rest of USA,

I'll pass that along to my higher-ups.

LMAO... "Rest of USA"... That's classic. I really doubt the "higher ups" give a rat's ass about what the rest of the USA wants, though.

Here's an interesting tidbit I heard Mediot Dan McNeil spout the
other day. While auditioning to be on ESPN radio in 2000/2001,
he did a weekend shift in Bristol and asked a caller for an opinion.
A higher up told Mac "If I ever heard my hosts ask a caller for an opinion,
i'd fire them. We're ESPN;we give people their opinions."Mac told the
higher up "Bite Me." I agree.

Makes me see those rectums in a whole new light.

As long as NYY/BOSOX continues to pull monster ratings, that's what you'll see on ESPN.

The National's home opener would've been cool; perhaps they could have shown that on the deuce.

They're not even good enough for ESPN2, they might put them on ESPN8 The Ocho though.
