Until Wood learns not to beat himself he will never become an elite pitcher. That report was spot on. Wood could win 17-20 every year but he's too damn stubborn at this point in his career.

Uh, didn't they ALREADY KNOW THAT! Where can I apply for a job with the Padres.

I heard they also found a Telex saying that John F. Kennedy had been shot in Dallas, too...

Yawn. Something Sox fans have known for years, but it's all propoganda until you read it in the Tribune.

UH, yes the Padres did already know that, that's why it's in the scouting report. Appearantly the Cubs and their "fans" didn't know anything abut it, however, and that's what makes it "news worthy."

Oh, a stickler. I still say that scouting report was useless; any manager over the age of 5 could just tell his team the same thing and take all of a minute doing it. Again, I wonder if the Padres have any openings? If somebody is getting paid to do a study and tell a MLB manager that Wood has control, injury, and pitch count problems, I'm sure they can find something more useful that I (or any WSI'er) can do. I can use the pay bump. Where was the scouting report on how to get Neifi Perez, Henry Blanco, and Derrick Lee out? They could have used that more than the Carry Wood obviousness.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda...yea and Uncle Rico could've won state if his coach would have put him in. I'm tired of hearing Wood could or should win 20. Then DO IT! This guy is over rated, period.
