Looks like we can forget about watching the first few innings of the Sox game tomorrow. Comcast is showing the second game of the Flubs DH at 3 p.m. Our game is scheduled to follow at 6. My guess is the coverage of the Lovable Losers won't be over in time for the beginning of the Sox game.

This sucks, they should put them on CSN+ (CLTV for cable, 639 for DirecTV) since it wasn't scheduled, but that's where we'll probably end up being. They better not pull that switch feeds in between commercials crap that FSN used to do (may have been WGN last year)

second, the wind should be blowing out tomorrow, which means Home Runs galore and also means the game is done in 9. How long it takes to play 9, that's anyone's guess.

the first game starts at 12 and if it does go over comcast must have a plan. at first game1 was on comcast and game 2 was on wgn. why do they have todo this to us  hopefully they will move the cubs game 2 over to csn+ if it goes over, like last year when the sox played 2 with toronto and they where going to move the sox over to + if there game went over.

Didn't a rescheduled DH interfer with our club last year when we were facing Seattle and Cubs were finishing an extra inning game against Arizona? I recall Chip mentioning Carl Everett hitting a HR, and being so furious with FSN's failure to broadcast the game on FSN+. I was rooting for the Cubs to score so the damn game would end.

Yeah, that's the specific one I remember. It got me so mad, we lit their pitcher up in the 1st inning (I think it was Freddy  ) and that was basically anything that happened in the game, but I think it was WGN, so that's why they had to keep switching back and forth

Naturally, we will be showing the Cubs game in its
entirety, same as we would if the White Sox were playing before the Cubs game in
this instance. Should the Cubs game run into the White Sox game start time at
6:05pm, the Cubs announcers will be providing a batter-by-batter update of the
White Sox game. We will be joining the White Sox game immediately following the
conclusion of the Cubs game to provide our viewers a full day/night of Chicago
baseball coverage.

I will be very upset if the 2nd game of the cubs dubbleheader cuts into the
White Sox game. Do you have a back up plan of puting the start of the White sox
game on CSN+ thanks

Cub game 2 is going VERY slowly so far.............. Looks like it's bottom 4th, and it's almost 4:30. Might just make it.

***, batter by batter update? Why can't they just put on of the games (preferabbly on the Flubs, which won't happen) on CSN+/CLTV?

lucky for me i have mlb.tv with a non chicago area code so i can watch the game at6. but lets hope the cubs game ends before 6. and lets see what happenes when and if the sox get rained out with a comcast game, and take it from there. i know we all want the game to start at6 on whatever channel so i say lets wait and see what happenes. and right now there going to the 7th.

If they show the 9th inning of a 8-1 game instead of the 1st inning of the Sox game, they deserve all the complaints they receive.

I caught Brenly actually PLUG the White Sox game in the 9th inning of Game 2. He said, "Make sure you go home, order a pizza, and catch the Sox game here on Comcast...make it a tripleheader today." That was surprisingly refreshing.
