Retroactive to April 7th, which means he's out at least another 10 days. Another blow to the Twins.

The only question is, which heretofore unknown first base prospect will be called up and hit .320/25/85 for them this time?

Terry Tiffee has been called up from the Twins AAA team in Rochester. Tiffee and LeCroy will share first base duty until Morneau comes back. Plus Silva is getting another opinion in Houston and may be back earlier than expected.

I feel bad for Morneau. He has a history of concussion problems. It'll probably ruin his career.

Yeah, he had four others from playing hockey growing up in Canada. Hopefully he will be alright.

I'm sure the entire starting nine could get hurt and the Double AA team could be promoted and win 10 games in a row against the Yankees and Red Sox.

Teal violation aside, since when do the minor leagues have a quadruple A level?
