There is NO doubt in my mind the D-Backs got this one. There is no hex, I repeat, NO HEX! The D-Backs win tonight AND tomorrow and my name is cleared!

The home team has won each of the first 5 games.
And yes there is a hex Mr. Positive.

If you're Brenly and you've got the lead in the ninth, do you bring in Kim?

What if you need to make a change in the eighth? Do you bring in Kim then?

I was just thinking...
What was the most disappointing Sox season in recent history?
2001
When did I start posting at WSI?
2001

Uh oh...

Well right now it is 7-0 if they are up by atleast 5 in the 8th or 9th I would bring him in.

This series kind of reminds me of the '91 series (Twins-Braves) where the home team won every game... That was a great series to watch, as well...

All Yankee-hating aside, this has been a hell of a World Series, much more exciting than the last few years.

Well, much more exciting that the "Subway Series". That was just awful for the rest of the country.

How can you say 2001 was the most disappointing season in recent history with 1994 out there?

Take the 2001 Yankees, subtract Clemens, El Duque, Justice, Stanton, and Ted Lilly, and tell me they would win 83 games this season... The #1 reason the Yankees have been so successfull over the past 5 years is their incredibly lucky string with no significant injuries. Not one of their important players has been out for any length of time. Call it Yankee luck if you will...

And it was the least-watched World Series of all time. It was bad for baseball.
