Are Kasper and Brenly that bad, or just dumbing themselves down because they've experienced Flub fans before

Runner on 1st, Derek Lee up with a 3-0 count

Brenly: "Now I know the naysayers will talk about manufacturing runs, but this is not a good time to lay down a bunt... (gives reasons why)"

Okay, enough. Somebody jump all over LaTroy's first pitch fastball strikes.

I'm listening to Telander, Buffone and Mulligan live at some bar near Wrigley.

I could tell from the drunken shrieks of annoying female Flubfans in the background that Hawkins had blown the lead. Pretty funny barometer for how things are going.

The battle of the inept offenses continues... this one might go to the 18th inning.

Speaking of 18 innings, inept offenses, and Wrigley Field, a couple years ago I went to the Urinal to watch Cubs-Astros on Memorial Day. It was about 35 degrees outside, or at least felt that way with the wind blowing.

No score in the 18th, the Cubs load the bases with one out, Houston brings Biggio in from center in the field, Sosa hits a chopper to 2nd, the Cubs win.

Probably one of the most boring baseball games I've ever been to. 18 innings, one stinking run, cold weather, blowing wind.
