"The acquisition of Baldwin could be an indication that the Dodgers might not sign Chan Ho Park.

Agent Scott Boras is expected to seek at least $20 million a season for his client, and baseball officials said the club will not pay that price. Baldwin might be a cost-effective alternative."

Yeah, that article was in the LA Times last week. Neither Boras or Park have mentioned any numbers, that's just speculation on the part of the Times writers. You think the Tribune has some shady writers?

With the impending lockout/labor crisis, I too don't seriously think Park will get that kind of money, but if you look at his numbes the past two years, he's gotten pretty damn amazing. Too bad his agent is Bora$.
