Brad Wilkerson (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=6631) hit for the cycle for the second time in his career in the Washington Nationals (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/clubhouse?team=was)' second game Wednesday night. Wilkerson completed his cycle with a ground-rule double in the eighth inning against Philadelphia's Aaron Fultz (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=6445). Wilkerson homered against Brett Myers (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=6864) in the third inning. He singled off Myers in the fifth and tripled against Rheal Cormier (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=4733) in the seventh.
Wilkerson's last cycle was against Pittsburgh on June 24, 2003.
That's pretty crazy stuff. Great for the first year in Washington. But what is most impressive about the Nationals is the $1 upper deck tickets. That's greta for when I go to college out east at College Park next year. Get to watch cheap hopefully OK baseball. But I'm gonna die without my Sox.
