All Yankee fans should savor this World Series victory, because the Yankees will never win another in our lifetime. The reason they won't win another, is not because the team is getting old or because of the law of averages. The reason they won't is because they have used up every last bit of baseball luck that the team is entitled to.
Next fall, in the ALC championship game, Bernie Williams will strike out with two outs in the ninth inning on a Keith Foulke change-up or Jeter will drop a decisive Frank Thomas pop-up and the White Sox era will begin.

We still will have to see an end to the yankmee "ultimate luck", King George's wallet.
