Speedway Wrecking, the "hardest hitters of all time," no?

I think it was "the hardest hitters in the business", if I'm not mistaken (?)

Whats he win?

(1) the esteem and admiration of fellow WSI-ers,
(2) a chance to boost my post count, and
(3) the appearance of being smarter than I am (or to look not quite as dumb as I am).

A man can't ask for much more . . .

They were not speedy enough. I remember going to a game at the new yard and there across the street it was in shambles, weeds growing all over the field. Made me depressed as hell. :whiner:

Tougher one: What was the name of the general contractor that built the new park? I don't mean a subcontractor like the plumbing company, but the overall general contractor.

They were the architectural firm that designed and engineered the new park. I need the name of the actual construction company that did most of the work (like Pepper Construction or Walsh Construction, to name a couple - and no, its neither of those).

Hint: The same company also built the Daley Center Plaza building and the Bank One Building (the old First National Bank of Chicago building), as well as many or most of the Robert Taylor Homes buildings.

Yes!! Gust K. Newberg Construction Co. was it.

I don't think they are around any more; I did a Google search and found them in with another big conglomerate.
