Isn't he on the DL? IIRC, don't we already have a thread on this? Can't find any reliable media outlets these days...

I can't wait to see this lineup perform, I'd rather have Crede batting at the 9 spot. Overall lineup looks about right spots, let's see this new speedsters and hard-nose defensive team excute now.

I'm ampied up, 3 more days! :bandance:

Why would you want Crede in the 9 spot? You want some speed down there for when the lineup flips over, and Crede cannot run.

That lineup looks pretty solid, and I really like Rowand in the 6 spot...

Uribe 9 sounds right, although Im not expecting too many SB's from him, and Crede 8 looks good too...

2-9, every hitter is a POTENTIAL threat to 20 Hr's...Even AJ, playing at the Cell...Konerko, Crede, Dye, Rowand, Uribe, Everett/Frank are guaranteed to hit 20, so there is absolutely no lack of power in this lineup...

More balanced, speed, power......I like it

Get er done

Jake Westbrook is the Opening Day starter for the Tribe. That says ".500 ballclub" all over it. I know Westbrook had decent numbers last year, but he's very very hittable.

I was thinking about this yesterday. I think Rowand should hit third until Frank comes back. In spring, our two best looking hitters have been Rowand and Crazy Carl. Plus, it would balance out our lineup as far as left-handed hitting perfectly:

*Pods
Iguchi
Rowand
#Everett
Konerko
Dye
*A.J.
Crede
Uribe

Now that the season is around the corner and I see the lineup on paper, I think it looks a hell of a lot better than the last few years - and that's even missing big Frank (I can't wait until he gets back).

This lineup looks much more balanced.

If Uribe bats 9th, he's going to lead off more innings this year than Pods will.

What happened to batting Iguchi 9th to protect him a bit more? I'd flipflop Uribe and Gooch.

Relax. This lineup will change 5 times by the end of April.

Gooch was brought in to bat 2nd. The guy can hit, even if he doesn't hit fantastic the first month he should still get on base more then Juan because he walks much more.

Pierzynski - Crede - Uribe at the bottom of the order looks a helluva a lot better than Crede - Alomar/Olivo - Harris, that's for sure

I like your lineup and the projected one but i dont think iguchi should be batting second untill he proves himself.

I would so take our Lineup in a heartbeat over this Indians team. We're so underrated its pathetic. I'm watching the Tigers today though, and I think that's a better lineup too.

We have Uribe batting 9th, that's pretty good. If he can stay out of a slump this season, he will have a great year.

Why would you bat Belliard so low? He Kills us!
