This is the pitching staff's ERA for the month of July:

Rocky Biddle: 8.24 (24 ER in 26.2 IP)
Kip Wells: 3.71 (12 ER in 29.1 IP)
Mark Buerhle: 3.33 (10 ER in 27 IP)
Sean Lowe: 3.33 (13 ER in 35 IP)
James Baldwin 7.80 (13 ER in 15 IP)

Some of the other's ERA:

Jon Garland 3.33 (6 ER in 16.2 IP)
Gary Glover 2.21 (3 ER in 12.2 IP)
Matt Ginter 5.19 (3 ER in 5.2 IP)

We could very well see not one, but two pitching changes here real soon. Baldwin will probably be gone via trade, but his performances this month is going downhill fast. Biddle may be in the pen for the rest of the year if he doesn't start to pitch like he's supposed to. His stuff is too good to reflect numbers like above.

The market for JB looks to be pretty much none so unless he has a good start tonight we might be stuck with him. And Lowe has been good but that Tribe game at Comiskey killed him. Same for Buehrle one game killed him.

Seems there may be hope for trading JB after all.

Well, on a positive side, let's assume that after August 1st, this is the rotation:

(stats from July only)
Mark Buerhle - 1-2, 27.0 IP, 10 ER, 3.33 ERA
Kip Wells - 2-1, 29.1 IP, 12 ER, 3.68 ERA
Sean Lowe - 3-2, 35.1 IP, 13 ER, 3.31 ERA
Jon Garland - 1-1, 10 G, 16.2 IP, 6 ER, 3.24 ERA

someone esle, for now, let's just say that Glover gets a chance... we may be looking at a Fogg callup, though... or Biddle may still be starting by shear lack of arms...

Gary Glover - 0-0, 10 G, 12.2 IP, 3 ER, 2.13 ERA...

So, right now, my projected August 1st rotation has put up these stats in july:

7-6, 121 IP, 44 ER, for an ERA of 3.27

I know this really means nothing, but I need something positive to make me feel good right now.

Man what a crazy ass season this is turning out to be. When teams are "aggressively pursuing" James Baldwin. But if he gets LA into the playoffs and he beats the Cub he will be back on my good side that is for sure! :)
