Although it looks hideous now, it will look beautiful against the white and black pinstripes of the White Sox sleeves.

I wasn't a big fan of the 2004 logo either but

That will look nice on the sides of the WHITE Sox hats and on the field in October.

I'm still pissed the White Sox got screwed on the official 2003 All-Star logo. That seems to be the only year that a team's logo, name or city wasn't shown in the all-star emblem. The "SOX" was originally in there, but it was replaced at some point by "MLB". I've got all the all-star balls lined up on my shelf here...2003 is the only one that doesn't have a name on it.

Ehh, not really. There were a couple different logos for the 2003 All-Star Game. On my game ticket, there is the Sox logo, as well as the mug that I have. But yea, I do know what your saying with the MLB version.

I'm talking about the official all-star baseball put out by Rawlings. The Sox logo was completely removed and replaced by the MLB logo. I have a guess as to why they did it that way, but I'd love to know the official reason.

same thing happend in 2002 for brewers...the logo used by fox almost always takes out the host city's name/logo(except in 1999...boston's asg)

It has a We-Are-The-World-Olympic look to it, and I don't mean that in a nice way.

Makes you wonder what MLB paid to get this logo designed for them. Come to think of it, they could probably save a mint, and get a better design by having a contest ala out annual over priced Chicago city stickers.

Some of the All Star Games had more than one logo

Example this year
