Now it's because of his "back". HA!

The Cubs front office is so full of **** it's laughable. I can't wait to hear about Prior's return next week - only to find out he slipped in the shower and stubbed his toe. :D:

The only thing that surprises me about this is that it is posted in the Sox Clubhouse. :?:

He's still better than Buehrle, he just needs to be "on."

Soooooooo typical.:D: :D: :D:

Leave it to the sCrUBS to lie blatantly. If a sCrUBS
player had a Hernia, they'd say he had an upset stomach.
Cub-Une wonk Rick Morrisey wrote a column like this a
few weeks ago.

And they wonder why they're the "lovable losers".:roflmao: :roflmao:

I guess I'm still reeling from the Beuhrle-scare earlier this week, but I'm afraid I can't take any joy in this news. Karma is a b**ch.

At this rate, Glendon Rusch will be their #2 starter.

OUCH.

It's fine to discuss this, but let's please refrain from celebrating. Whether it's karma or whatever the bottom line is it's just not cool to celebrate a players injury.

Here's another good reason why we shouldn't celebrate a player's injury. It's not the injuries that are amusing, it's the bizarro spin jobs by team management and the media that are amusing.

I still think they have a fight club.

It's more that than the fact that he's actually injured.

Right on. No celebration of the injury but joy in the hilarious excuses Cubs management come up with. Lots of individuals in the Cubs blog community are expressing annoyance with this as well.

Even sCrUBBY apologist Harry Teinowitz (from MJ&H) is tired of the lies and misinformation that comes out of the sCrUB training staff. I'm beginning to think that if they ever DID announce an injury as serious, it would mean that death was imminent.
