More bilge from Dusty! Given the Cubs recent history when talking about the severity of a player's injury, this means no one will see him until at least June.

Wait a second, I thought he was to resume throwing on Monday? Now he could miss opening day? What's wrong with this picture.

It just goes to show what the ScRubs management thinks of its fans.

"Yes, it's true Kerry has been hit by a bus, but our medical staff thinks he'll be able to walk it off. He shouldn't miss ANY time"

"We also believe that a Sox fan was driving that bus, possibly the same one that dumped weed killer on the ivy."

"We're set to have Kerry throw in a simulated game tomorrow. If things go well, he'll throw in 6 more simulated games and then make a start or two in Lansing. If things still seem to be a go after that, he'll make a few starts in Iowa. If he's still feeling good after Iowa, he'll throw in a couple more simulated games and then make his first start back with the Cubs. We just want to take all the precautions we can and not push Kerry back too soon from his injury. Of course, if anything goes wrong we'll just have to shut him down for the season. He's just too valuable a pitcher to take too many risks by trying to rush him back early."
