I am trying to find his phone number on the internet. If it gets off the ground I'd be willing to donate items along with video and audio Sox clips of historical nature.

It would be very nice to put this some where close to USCF.

Not going to happen. It'll be closer to the North Side according to the story.

Sounds like he wants it in River North, which isn't really "Cubs territory." I'd consider downtown as the neutral zone.

Dr. Fletcher is a great guy. He came to my Black Sox class at DePaul as a guest speaker.

It is a good idea. And it will be cheap to build, the Wing for championships will be the size of a phone booth. Let's hope Ozzie and the boys expand that phone booth this year. It would be great to have something for us in the midwest. I'd even be OK with a "Midwest Hall of Fame", but of course located in Chicago. St Louis has some good history, and the out of town tourists for the museum and the Chicago economy would be good.

It is a good idea despite the fact that the World Series never seems go happen around here. However, there is still plenty of history and the museum would be a great thing. We just would have to live through some painful memories.

U.S. Cellular location would cheaper than any site downtown or near north.
Plus plenty of available parking on non-game days. And it's historic.
