View Full Version : You think Carlos is enjoying the food up there?

But he is having a monster spring.

Carlos Lee smacked two homers and singled today in the Brewers' 9-6 win over the Royals.
Lee, already in midseason form, has three home runs and nine RBI in three games.

Wow. I hope he doesn't try to eat one of the sausages running the sausage race. :o:

No surprise that he's doing what he is doing. Carlos is a good player. The Brewers fans will love him. I wish him the best. Pods will do fine for us, though.

Still hard to see him in a Brewers uniform, a lot harder than Magglio since we all knew he wasn't coming back. :whiner: Oh well, Scott Podsednik has been great so far in ST, I'm sure he'll be great for the sox.

I overpaid for him big in My NL-only fantasy draft, so he better be good!

This trade may work out for both teams. I know it's rare and seemingly unheard of, but it just might work

Nice to see El Caballo having a great start for the Brewers... also nice to see the Royals pitching staff putting the ball up on the proverbial tee.

Last year I was in fornt of a taunter who kept yelling "Hey Carlos, have another cheeseburger!" to him. I inquired about the taunt and he said that he knew a place wherre Carlos frequented and ate A LOT...especially cheeseburgers. I thought nothing of it because I didn't think Carlos was overweight, but yikes!

BTW...has he really been in Milwaukee yet? And I know for a fact that Chicago food is better, but brats, cheese, and beer is quite the combination if you are lookin to expand your waistline.

I just hope Carlos saves up for the Flubs. He should be a major thorn in their side for a long time.

Jose Valentin had a 550 OBP and 750 Slugging %, with a ton of RBI and no errors last spring training with the Sox.

We all know how well that translated into his regular season production....

The end.

Childish, santo, very childish.

But very, very funny nonetheless.

Carlos' head looks like it's gonna bust out of that batting helmet!:D:
I hope C Lee has a monster year for the Crew.
I already got my tickets for Carlos Lee bobblehead night on September 3rd at Miller Park!

It's because he's eating for two now. :D:

Carlos Lee will leave camp later today to be with his wife in Panama as she delivers their third child.
Lee might be the hottest hitter in the opening days of the Cactus League. He'll re-join the team Friday.
