None. First televised game Monday, 3/7 at 2p. Tomorrow's game is on Am 1000, though.

It will be on ESPN Radio 1000 but spring training will not be televised until March 7th against San Francisco.

I got an email from my ticket rep today that said "The 21 televised spring broadcasts are the most ever by a single club in Major League Baseball history." I thought that was pretty neat. It also said something to the effect that 17 of the broadcasts will be done with Hawk and DJ while four will feature Hawk and another, unnamed color analyst.

In a related question, does anyone know if the Sox spring training broadcasts will be streamed over the internet? I know regular season games are not, so I'd be surprised if spring training games were, but I'm wondering if maybe I'll get lucky.

Last year, mlb.com allowed all ST games to be heard free of charge in an attempt to get people to sign up for the service. Probably be the same this year as well.

No game on the tube tomorrow, the first will be broadcast on Monday, March 7th against the SF Gaints. Heres the link to the broadcast schedule.

ComcastSportsNet (http://chicago.comcastsportsnet.com/SoxSpringTraining.asp)

Also here's the link to the radio broadcast schedule.
EspnRadio (http://www.espnradio1000.com/listingsentryheadline.asp?ID=242521&PT=Station+News)

WSI'ers should email the people of Comcast and let them know what a great move it is to broadcast 20 spring training games this year.

This is as good a thread as any to remind everybody that I have created a comma-delimited (CSV) 2005 schedule, suitable for importing into Microsoft Outlook (or, probably, you calendar program of choice), including pre-programmed reminders and broadcast information for every game, including Spring Training.

You can read more about it in this thread (http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=45507).

So the Rockies @ White Sox game will be on ESPN 1000 at 2:00 P.M. Central Time tomorrow?

I can't wait for that game against the Giants on CSN next Monday! :bandance:

I'll be working at home tomorrow, which means I should be able to listen to the whole game -- none of those pesky co-workers getting in the way.

Now I'm really excited!

Nope. MLB has the rights to all broadcasts. You have to listen online through mlb.com. Good thing is that the spring training feeds are usually free.

Same problem here. Even the KOA link just has a repeated message that they'll return after the game and you can find the game online by going to MLB.com.....:whiner:

It's not like the prospect of being able to listen to those is going to make anyone sign up for the season who otherwise wouldn't. You'd think it would be a good way of getting people to try it and maybe sign up.

I agree, they use to have the spring training games for free, to hook people to sign up for the season. I don't think mlb has gotten there act together yet for this year. I'm still using my Gameday Audio account from last year, and it works fine. I was wondering whether I needed to re-up for this year, but theres no info on renewing or starting an account for 2005. I wouldn't be suprised if they get it all straightened out in a couple days. Anyhow, it looks like if you don't have an account from last year, then you can't listen to Gameday Audio via MLB.
