Terry Boers and Dan Bernstein are taking the Ozzie bashers to task.
"Any Tribune writer who calls someone a company man is a turd."
"Any time a Tribune writer calls someone a company man, it makes my crotch weep."
"Phil Rogers is in a glass house."

I'm glad someone said it. I couldn't even read that steaming pile of crap this morning.

Wow. I was on the fence about them before, but that scored big points with me.

From Phil Rogers interview with WSI, August 2002:
"First off there is an inherent conflict of interest that weakens our (Chicago Tribuneís) position. Also itís an indefensible conflict. As far as our sports department, we get no benefits from the fact that the Tribune Company owns us and the Cubs. I asked the same question myself when I interviewed for the job back in 1997. The gentleman I was speaking with said no pressure would be put on us, no one would tell us what to write or how to write it. Itís now 2002 and I have never seen any pressure applied."

It continues to amaze me how the "mediots" in this city don't
pay attention to detail.Ozzie Guillen is a very emotional manager,
just as he was an emotional player. What did these idiots think
Ozzie would do?? Be politically correct and say "it's in the past"??
Nope.Ozzie will tell you what he's thinking, like it or not.
I'd rather bash Maggot-otti and the Cub-Une,myself.

I wish I was able to listen to B&B. They broadcast in the afternoon, correct? Unfortunately, I'm at work when they're on. I think I'd rather listen to them than MJ&H. I'd bet money Mac will rip Ozzie, although he is no fan of Moronotti's...
