I remember when George was banned from baseball a couple of years ago, and how quiet it seemed to be at that time. On the other hand, in several instances where people ran into him on the street, a restaurant in Iowa for one, he seemed to be a real stand up guy. He took time in the restaurant to talk to a kid, and even gave him tickets to an upcoming ballgame. So, while he seems to be an owner people would love to hate, I have to admire him as an owner and a person.

Of course, I'm still glad I don't have to work for him.
