The Cub Media Assault DOMINATED the airwaves this morning, as
a local tv station had a helicopter flying over Wrigley Field to show
the Sheep waiting for tickets. The Ticket sale dominated the newstories
along with the Pope being sick and the war in Iraq. Cubbie Bimbette
and FOX news anchor Nancy Loo couldnt restrain her Glee that tickets
were on sale. Among the newstopics was the "historic" visit by the RedSox
(how many times will the Cubs play AL East teams?). Cub Fan Dane Placko
also was quoted as saying "millions of cub fans" will be ordering tickets today.
Millions? very Kileyesque.
The Media has continued their 5th straight day of talking cubs/sosa or sosa/cubs.

Better get used to that. That's this city's best tabloid-style story going right now. The media isn't going to let that rest anytime soon.

I say let them. this way, the Cubs have to continue to pay attention to Shammy, while the Sox continue with getting ready for the season to start. I hate to say it, but I'm loving the Cubs getting so much press right now, because it's not the feel good stuff we're used to hearing.

The Media seems visibly UPSET that Nomar hasnt ACCEPTED
their blatant offer of being the poster-child for the MEDIA.

I love, LOVE!, the wall-to-wall coverage over who lied between Scammy and the team! What a distraction as the Flubs prepare to repeat as World Series champs.

Meanwhile on the South Side, KW and Ozzie are putting it together.......:D:

their blatant offer of being the poster-child for the MEDIA.
They must be realizing that Nomar is not the cuddly Disney character they portray all Cubbies to be (except Sammy, who is evil bad now). Just because he's wearing baby bear blue doesn't mean Nomar is suddenly a different person from the sullen guy who moped around the BoSox dugout for most of last season. Wouldn't YOU be pissed off if your team traded you and then went on a tear to win the World Series? And worst of all they traded you to the Urinal?!
