Guillen seemed less concerned about Rowand hurting himself playing center, stating that Rowand had earned the spot and he could get hurt playing anywhere in the outfield. But nothing is definite.

The outfield already has changed twice in Guillen's mind since the start of Spring Training.

"My best guy right now in center field is Aaron," Guillen said. "We are looking to do the best we can defensively."

Good call Ozzie. Pods need to concentrate on his offense this year and get that lineup GOING, so keep Aaron in Center. Not sure what I'll write tomorrow when Ozzie changes his mine though...

Obviously there are little adjustments to be made when switching over from CF to LF, and vice versa. That being said, I don't really think it is important to name a CF right now, and say that Pods will play in LF, etc. As of right now, I would stick Aaron in CF, just because he has the arm for it, and he proved effective there last year. Pods, I am sure, can be possibly just as effective. I think that Aaron has "seniority" with the Sox, if you want to say it, so he should be in CF. However, as the ST games approach, I'm sure Ozzie is going to be playing them back and forth seeing who has a better handle on it, and then Ozzie will have a better idea of who he wants in center, or left.

White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen seems to have changed his mind again about sliding Aaron Rowand to left field and letting Scott Podsednik play center.
''Aaron did a tremendous job,'' Guillen said. ''He earned the spot and deserves to be there.'' He still has time to reverse course on the subject three or four more times before the start of the season. Very little that Guillen says should be taken seriously.

Kenny: "That's right Ozz, fly under that radar babay!"

"I tell you today, with absolute certainty, that Aaron Rowand will not play centerfield. We will not allow him to sacrifice himself against the walls of US Cellular just for the sake of the team. He is far too valuable. And because he is so valuable, we need to place him where he can best help the team. Given his talents, he is indispensible as a centerfielder. Therefore, Rowand will play centerfield. Its his job to lose, after all."

Ozzie knows the utter lack of questions and holes to fill will make for a boring spring if he doesn't keep us guessing on something. :)
