Sammy Sosa arrived in Orioles camp today, and he had this to say to reporters:

"For the 13 years I was in Chicago, I only made two mistakes. That's pretty good," he said. "If I had known that leaving early last year would have caused such a controversy, I would have never done it. My manager told me I had a day off. But what can I say?"

What a dork!

I saw this earlier. Two mistakes in 13 years? Sammy doesn't live in reality does he? And he obviously hasn't lerned a thing. It's still me, me, me...he was so wronged in Chicago, wasn't he?

You gotta say this much though; Barry Bonds actually makes Sammy look like a great person. Who thought that was possible?

Just give Sammy time to catch up. It shouldn't take long.

Not to me he doesn't. Bonds doesn't flaunt his obsurdness as much as ShaME. ShaME loves the spotlight knowing he is among the biggest cheats, frauds and liers in the game. Bonds usually won't talk about it, at least he is ashamed of himself even if he won't come out and say it.

7. Comparing himself to Jesus.

Well, he did say at his press conference today that he is "optimistee," so he's having a high self-esteem day.

Actually, with "news" as it is, there are two frauds in Orioles camp.

Is everyone missing the important part of the quote? He is blaming Dusty for the fan appreciation day debacle.

Doesn't "day off" in MLB lingo mean that as a starter you are not starting, but your butt still needs to be on the bench.

Exactly. What I don't get is how he thinks by saying Dusty told him he had the day off, he believed he had the right to go home and still thinks he was right! :?:

I caught that, too. I wonder what Dusty would say about that. It seems the two of them go round and around saying that the other said something was "ok", just to find out that it wasn't.

9. If you count running Mark Grace out of town.

I was just talking about this with a buddy this morning. Grace is so lucky to have had Scammy on his team. If not, he likely would have ended his carreer without that shiny finger-warmer he got in Arizona. I always dug Grace, though I kept it quiet for the most part. However, I was cheering my throat soar when the D-Backs took the trophy.

A Class Act (http://www.suntimes.com/output/slezak/cst-spt-carol01.html)The funniest story about Grace is how he used to have sex with fat and ugly girls to help break his hitting slumps. He called them "slump-busters." :rolling:
