Seems to be a good chance either of these 2 will win the AL Rookie-of-the-Year

How many at bats do you need to have the previous year to be considered a rookie? I know Reed will be considered a rookie. I might have to go with Nick Swisher for ROY. Can't forget Dan Meyer either.

Would be fairly tough for Blanton to win the Triple Crown.

Reed will be starting in CF and batting 2nd between Ichiro! and Beltre. He's as good a pick as any for a pre-season ROY selection.

That's because we haven't traded him away yet. If Kenny trades him somewhere else, I'm sure Iguchi will appear on Hangar's ROY list.

Until then, he's an albatross that JR's PAYROLL CUT has saddled us with.

Fans of baseball at large. They're two fine players, but I have no regrets over the way things transpired. 3.5 years of Freddy under market value will be worth Reed when it's all said and done and the draft is crapshoot to a large degree. If McCarthy gets called up he might have a better chance of getting ROY than either of those two.

He should get a chance, but he played a lot last year at the end...is he still eligible?

Nick Swisher...he will win it in a landslide.

Dallas Mcpherson, 3b for the Angels wouldn't be a bad bet, as well -
