Sounds like life in the minors could be getting a little more dangerous in the near future. There's nothing like facing a minor league pitcher close in, to wake you up in the morning.

That's a good rule, they should do it in the majors too. Maybe Nomar's at bats wouldn' take ten minutes.

I don't know if I like MLB trying to speed up the game. Part of baseball is pace and if you disrupt a pitchers pace then you have an advantage. Sure Nomar is a human rain delay but so was Fisk. I think it's a way to make baseball more enjoyable to the average fan; I supose there is more money in the casual fan than in the hardcore fan.

I like that rule. Hopefully, it will make its way into the majors, ending these painfully long AB's
