View Full Version : 2005 CSV-Formatted Schedule

Last year, ESPN 1000 put up the Sox schedule in CSV format, so you could import it into Microsoft Outlook...I really liked that, but they haven't put one up yet this year, so I decided to do it myself.

A couple differences between mine and the one that ESPN 1000 put up last season:

1) Mine includes all Spring Training & Exhibition games.
2) Mine includes broadcast information (TV & Radio info for Spring Training, TV info for the Regular Season).
3) Times for all four time zones in the contiguous U.S. (ESPN's only had Central and Eastern zones).

Obviously, the schedule is subject to change, and I'm not responsible for that.

There's a text file in the .zip with instructions...enjoy!

I can have outlook notify 15 minutes prior to every time, so that the
Nachos and Churros will be toasty warm right at game time....

It looks great. Thanks for your work on the schedule. ...think I probably messed up somewhere...didn't get the broadcast info....what field did I miss?

I was trying to do the same thing, but instead of for outlook but with Lotus Notes. Any tips?

Any chance of someone making a jpeg file of the schedule, so I could set it as my wallpaper at work?

Any help or directions would be appreciated...

Awesome! Thanks a ton! Those instructions were quite helpful. Having the schedule on my Outlook calendar is going to be a great time saver this season. Thanks for putting this together and sharing it with the White Sox community!

My outlook keeps saying that it needs to download Outlook Translator. But the download fails!

surfdudes: The CSV file actually has reminders set 2 hours before game time.

Tom~Attitude: They're in the "description" area...you have to open up the "appointment" to see it:

OzzieBall: I've never used LotusNotes, so I'm not sure. If it can import CSV calendar information, though, it should follow a similar set of steps.

Rocky Soprano: You'll need access to whatever media (disc, network share) that your copy of Office was installed from so it can install the Translator...I don't think that the Translator is available seperately, unfortunately.

Click the thumbnails for the full-sized images. They're 1600x1200, so they should work for just about everybody.

Thanks for the schedule. It will come in handy after I sync up the blackberry.
