Oh yeah, I loooove Lloyd. He's the best manager to watch during a game.. never forget the day he walked out and literally stole third base. Ripped it right out of the ground and carried into the dugout. I love the Pirates more than anyone on this board.. but they're going to be grasping for .500 yet another year. I pray I'm wrong though!

Same here. It's too early for predictions. Gotta see who has a good or bad Spring Training, what players show up significantly lighter this year, injuries, etc. Too early for predictions.

I think that actually makes it more entertaining. If we have less to go on, it makes it all the more impressive if anyone actually gets it right...and makes it far more acceptable to be totally off.

People...
THE YANKEES WONT WIN THE WORLD SERIES!!! Not in 2005, not in 2006, and not for a while. Accept it and move on. Need I remind this board how many jaws dropped when they got PayRod? "Oh, they are too good, its not fair. They will win for sure." If some people applied the same scrutiny to the Yankees' pitching staff as they do to ours, much fewer people would have them winning it all.

Thank you. It's more of a challenge. You know someone else will make another prediction thread on April 3rd or sometime around then.

They didn't have pitching. Now they have a sick rotation.

C'mon, you can't honestly tell me you think the Cubs will make it to the Series, can you? I mean this is a team that finished in 3rd in their division last and got worse over the offseason. There is no way they make the playoffs unless absolutely everything goes right for them. *** are you smoking?

Hey, what can I say, I think this is the year the Twins fall, and I like what the Indians have put together....Plus I'm extremely superstitious and every year I pick the Sox to win the division they suck.
I really do think the Indians have a solid team, though. Let's hope I don't feel that way after this 3-game series to open the season.
