This may be an old story, but both of these pitchers have seen more than a 50 IP increase between 03 and 04. Silva went from 87ip to 203ip and Santana went from 158ip to 228ip.

This is an older article but last year Mark Prior and Runelvys Hernandez both fell in this category and spent sigificant time on the dl

just something to ponder

I hope they don't. We don't need those pisshead twins fans to have an excuse after we pulverize the crap out of them this year.

4th times the charm!

Silva was flash in the pan...he doesn't worry me...plus we had his # last year, we killed him every time...we even tatooed Santana once (that game in May at the Metrodome)..... Radke isn't getting any younger either and we are due against him.

just something to ponderThis could go either way with pitchers because Carlos Zambrano went from 108.3 innings to 214.0 innings from 2002 to 2003. He pitched 209.7 innings in 2004. I think it depends on pitches thrown, or if that pitcher has a certain pitch that would cause arm problems. I don't think that Santana or Zambrano have a pitch like that, but Prior and Hernandez do. Santana has been hurt before but I don't know what'll happen.
