Man, is the Tigers objective to become the Detroit Cub Sox this offseason?

at least were not considering Jason Grilli and a bunch of other Kannapolis Intimidators for rotation spots 2-5, this year as in years past.

as for detroit, have they made one good move in the past 15 years, i'm glad they're the reason why people always say the al central is so weak.

Kind of sad to see Grilli go, but there was obviously no use for him in our organization. He just better not be lights out in Detroit.

This is one of my favorite Sox moves of the off-season. I won't have to watch his painful pitching again.

The Sox will grill Grilli every time they see him this season!!:bandance: :bandance:

All that effort the Hawk spent touting him last season is down the drain.

They will definately take the division now.

Rdivaldi its pretty pointless posting the same topic on the sox espn board. Just to let you know I am Nunnigan

I would have liked to keep Jason around for some depth in the starting pitching area. Jason is now two years removed from arm or shoulder surgery(can't remember which) he showed that he has some good stuff last year, imo it would have been to nice to have him pitching in Charlotte in case of an injury to El duque.

Hey I know...let's play a game--whoever uses the teal police tag the most to fight non-teal wins.
...You've got to be the first officer on the scene though.

Should this be in teal? Grilli was a gas can out there, I mean sure, he went out there and pitched consistently. The only problem with that, was that he was consistenly BAD. I'd rather throw out our bevy of Neil Cotts, Felix Diaz and Dustin Hermanson before giving that crum bum Grilli a shot at pitching another game for the white sox.

That's probably a good thing. If you look at the recent history of the Cubs and Sox (outside of the Cubs in 2003) both teams have been disappointments.

I can't wait to see the Sox hitters shell Grilli...for once I will actually enjoy watching Grilli lose it in the first inning!

Don't worry about those boobs, they'll tire out and we'll get back to good conversation over there.
