Just found this out when I was giving a presentation in my English class, Since 1960 the Sox have won 715 more games then then Scrubs, thats a span of 44 years, so on average thats 16 more wins a season, also the Sox have had more wins in every decade then the Flubs, include the 2000's they hold a slim advantage with 3 more wins, just thought I'd share!

If you go back to 1950 the difference is even greater. From 51-59 we won no less than 81 games (8 games over .500 then) and as much as 98 (1964). And hit the 90 win mark 4 times in that stretch with the 154 game schedule, which is equivalent to 95 or more wins in a 162 gamer.

And for the record, the cubs spent the entire decade of the 50s under .500. Often well under.

Mean-while...Chicago's somehow become a cubs town. Mercy.

To further cement Sox superiority they have an edge in head to head games as well.

The Sox have won a WS against the Cubs, have taken 18 of 25 exhibition series from 1906 until the 90's, and are up by two games in the interleague series. All-time the Sox are something like 40 games over .500 when facing the Cubs. I found this out when I was at the Hall of Fame.

The White Sox went 17 consecutive seasons with a 'winning' record. It started in 1951 and went through 1967. That's the 3rd longest streak in MLB history trailing only the Yanks and then Baltimore (18 years).

Putting it another way. I was born in 1955. I never experienced a 'losing' season until I was 13!!!!!

What is your point? The Sox play in an inferior league. The National League is God's League because they don't use the Designated Hitter Rule. Also the Sox get play pansies like the Yankees, Red Sox, Twins A's (in the 70's and 90's), and that pitifully weak Orioles pitching staff of the 70's and 80's which had forgettable guys like Palmer, McNally, Cuellar and so forth.
