WOW!!! Seattle worked way too hard in the regular season for this. Seattle in the regular season 116-46 .716. Seattle in the playoffs 4-6 .400. The latter is much, much more important as you all know and Seattle is sucking it up these playoffs.

I'm sure the talk in Seattle will be about their lack of a true #1 starter(sound familiar?). Sele, Garcia, Moyer, etc, are all good starters, but to win a best of 7 post season series you have to have a stud in the rotation to go with the others.

I doubt that will be the talk because Garcia was the era champ this year in the AL.

Garcia is not and will not ever be a #1 starter....at least not in the playoffs.

With the exception of El Duque, because of injuries, NY has 3 starters who would be no. 1 on any other AL team., exception being Boston.
