I'll let you read and react (http://www.theheckler.com/index.php?page=04_06_29_miles&idrub=3&idsite=1&PHPSESSID=d8bfbc4febfd4f7f7639259a764ccdfe)

It's a toolbox Cub fan joke site, but it's really not funny.

Should we expect anything less? Who cares about these idiots. Couldn't they come up with something a bit more funny then "cashing in cigarettes for tickets"? Please...

Why does it make you so angry? It just goes to show you how bad Cubs' fans sense of humor is.

Meh...no big deal. I'm amused that's the best they could come up with. I expected better from those far superior cub fans. BTW, don't they say that they don't pay attention to us.

I should have put  instead of . It really doesn't make me that mad, just frustrating that someone like that has the right to vote in this country.

Only Sox fans are the ones who are more obsessed with the other team in Chicago.

WOW! Now that was funny. Please, someone inform these bums that getting a job that pays is allowed once you hit 16, which seems to be about 15 years ago for these clowns.

That's really an awful attempt at reinventing "The Onion (http://www.theonion.com)". They play on the stereotypes of Sox fans, and we on this board play on the stereotypes of those on the Northside. I have no problem with that "newspapers" existence, but it's done really poorly. I read the most recent issue, and they have a columnist "Doug the Sox fan" that bashes the Cubs. A dopey read, but that's what I expect from people that would make a Cubs "newspaper".

That paper is like an unfunny version of the Onion. If the Onion ever decides to eliminate their humor, they know where to find a writer.

I've seen this paper around. Usually it makes fun of the Cubs.

So is this thing circulated throughout Chicago, or just the North Side, or what? Thankfully I never have to run into it.

I came across an actual issue once after a game at the Crumbling Confines. They don't really distribute them....they're just around

So, basically, they just lay around for Ronnie Woo to use as toilet paper?

Yeah, basically. I almost saw WooWoo get killed. He was in the street signing an autograph, and a speeding taxi missed him by inches. He had no idea.

After yawning my way through the Sox tix-for-cig-coupons story, I went and looked at some of the back issues. Not only do they take pokes at the sCrUBS, they lampoon other teams and MLB in general. There's one story in the back issues about MLB wanting to save money by importing steroids from Canada!

This crap was posted last year on the some other site, i think it was the sox message board, or the cubs maybe. Anyway this is the crap that high school kids do after school, exciting huh......

Chug-Chug the comeback clown? "Million Mullet March as Sox fans converge on Wrigley"? Come on people. This is possibly the most lame humor I have ever seen. And that includes the newest episodes of SNL. This one even failed to offend me as a Sox fan, which is saying something.

My dad claimed to have spotted WooWoo in a Tampa airport one time. He claims he was decked out in Flub garb. He wanted to yell out 'cubs suck' but my mother frowns on such outbursts so he just shook his head. I thought there as government agency that protected the mentally ill from being abused. Especially from large corporations.

Here's the best part of that article:

In a new commercial, the White Sox boast that tickets can be bought at face value simply by calling their box office. Contrarily, the commercial states that Cubs tickets need to be purchased through a broker at a high premium.

So, on a hunch I clicked the link on the left "Find Cub Tickets", and what comes up? A link to Stub Hub.com, which is an official sponsor of the site! LOL!
