This maybe old news but if it's not up here yet, I think a ton of us will benefit...

You can buy them on eBay also: The "Sox Pride" wristbands are available in increments of five for $2 each, plus $5 shipping per order. Mail orders should be sent to: White Sox Wristband Orders, 333 West 35th Street, Chicago, IL 60616. Make the check payable to Chicago White Sox Charities.

Or you can go over to the U.S. Cellular box office and bypass the shipping cost. It's cash only at U.S. Cellular. Plans for the wristbands to be made available online at whitesox.com are being finalized.

I didn't find the deal on eBay they're talking about. As it reads, they will be available to order on whitesox.com pretty soon.

By the way, they're making a good money on eBay selling for around $7-$10 each. Sad. The market is getting flooded with them so hopefully the demand dies down, as it should when they are available on whitesox.com.

$5 for S/H? You could mail one of those for a price of a stamp. I guess they have to pay for the labor help and supplies...but Geez.

Thats because they are shipping 5 at a time.

So you can't get 1? It has to be a minimum of 5, which would be a total of $15? I'll get one when I go to a game or something

Might want to think twice...They'll be $20 at the park...:D:

Mailing 5 wristbands via first class mail wouldn't cost $5. It'd cost maybe 60 cents at the most. They weighed nothing.

Who knows though. Maybe there are doing priority shipping with delivery confirmation and insurance.

They aren't...

I just placed the order - and did not get a break on the shipping.. :(:

But I'm not going to blame those who couldn't get to the fest to get them. Sticking to the $4 bid and anything over the $2.37 will go back to the Sox Charities. I'll post the link when I get it going.

Who needs to find a cure for cancer when you can build ballparks? Anyways, I think this is a good idea by Brooks or whoever.

Did you happen to see who the seller was?

$5 is rediculous for shipping, We ship 200 of ours, and it only costs $7, if you do the math, that is way way way less than $5 for 5 bracelets.

I'd assume he's talking about Michigan State Uni wristbands. I want a sox pride wristband but I don't need 5 of them. Hopefully they'll have single orders online soon

Mail orders are good for multiple wristbands. You're only paying $3 per wristband.

However, if you want just 1, go to the box office or wait until Opening Day. I highly doubt they'll sell individuals on-line. Look at it from a business sense, costs to take in-orders, package, and ship would exceed the $2 price tag.

I should have them Monday.. I'm not going to do the eBay thing. $2.37 (it shipped fine with a stamp) and I'll send those of you that are unable to get them one. No sense in screwing those of you that couldn't get to the fest on the shipping..

I'll post my PalPal info on Monday if the admin doesn't mind..
