'59 Turn Back the Clock should be fantastic.

The million dollar pitch gimmick has Bulls written all over it. I assume this means a fan gets to pitch off the mound and has to hit a teacup to win a million bucks?

:hawk

"Teacup time, Wimpy!"

Yeah that 1959 day should be a hot ticket. I smell a sell-out!

The 1959 throwback game should be great. Unfortunately, it's one of the premier games and the cheapest seats are $23 in the upper deck reserve. :whiner: I can't really complain though since this really is a great match up.

The goods usually arent announced until about a month before that game. Once i went to a game on a Wednesday night, usually not a big promotion night. About a week before they announce its Hawk/DJ bobbleheads. Usually fireworks, dog day, etc. are announced early

Most likely will be during a Sox road trip if they stay true to last year's thinking.

I just realized that last year was the 25th anniversary of Disco Demolition Night. Can anyone tell me if there was any acknowledge of it promotion-wise? Just wondering.

If there wasn't it wouldn't suprise me , of course. I'm sure there some creative-types in the pr/marketing department that could have taken the notoriety of what happened that night and spun it into something positive promotion-wise.

Thanks for the info... sounds like too much trouble than what it's worth for the Sox to make it happen. If it's even possible at all.

Ya think that maybe they finally realized that they arn't dealing with Yankee fans, and just may need a little help filling the stands?

I'm surprised that game hasn't sold out yet. That's going to be a great night. Fireworks too. Can't wait to go.

I got lucky when I just picked dates for my package. I got the turn back the clock night and the 40th anniversy of teh Beatles which will be great cause my dad went to that concert. I'm sure he'll want my extra for that game!

A guy in the Bear fan club up here has a shirt with the Grateful Dead bears on the front and it reads "The Dead never played Lambeau" on the back. We could do that with: "The Beatles never played at Wrigley"...or did they? :dunno:

beatles played comiskey in 1965, and the international apitheatre in 1964.
