I was playing Euchre on Yahoo and I ran into someone who claimed to be an ex-Milwaukee Brewer. He seemed pretty legit. Said his name was Nick Neugebauer. He had arm injuries and last pitched in '02. Says he's coming back this year if he can get a contract.

I remember him. I would guess it would be true since I don't know why anybody would go online and pretend to be Nick Neugebauer.

Though of course I used to send angry letters to government officials under the name Matt Merullo, so it takes all kinds.

Yeah I believed him. before he said he had been a Brewers player I asked what team he liked and he said the Angels so I asked him if he grew up in south cal, and he said the name of a town. it checked out in his ESPN profile...I know you could find that stuff but who's going to go to those lengths to pretend to be Nick Neugebauer?

Ask yourself this question;

why the hell is a MLB player on Yahoo playing games and telling people who he is? ON A FRIDAY NIGHT?

Hey--it's possible.

My dad talked to Mark Buehrle's dad through a MSN chat a long time ago...or so he says.

Neugebauer was a very good prospect, so you should've given him Kenny's number.

This is not a joke but I just don't think it's a big deal;

I sold Mark Prior's aunt from California a Mark Prior bobblehead on eBay. She said she had never seen them before and didn't have the one I was selling. Thought that was cool.

I went to the sacred mountain with my father. When we reached the peak i realized it was not my father but an older version of me.
