The Sox had a Spanish-only press conference on Thursday. Part of that press conference was introducing El Duque to the media. Here are a couple stories on what was said: whitesox.com story (http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/cws/news/cws_news.jsp?ymd=20050113&content_id=930928&vkey=news_cws&fext=.jsp) and chicagosports.com story (http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/whitesox/cs-050113sox,1,4050863.story?coll=cs-home-headlines)

"I was flying back [from Venezuela] and there were two scouts [who] said, 'El Duque will be your No. 1 pitcher going into the playoffs,'" manager Ozzie Guillen said."I like money," a laughing Hernandez said, through translator and first-base coach Joey Cora, following a press conference Thursday. "But it wasn't that important. I was looking for a two-year contract.

"I don't like to change from team to team," Hernandez said. "I'm here for two years, but I hope I can stay longer. I wanted to pitch for just one team my whole career, but Chicago gave me this opportunity.

Thanks for the info Jjav. That jersey will look even better in April when he's on the mound pitching for the southsiders.

Or they'll just let him stay on the 25 man roster instead of Borchard.
