Speaking of Friday night...for being one of the 1st 500 fans to buy season tickets I got two free autograph sessions with somebody. Now I have done this in the past and it has been Baines, Thomas, Magglio, etc...

Anyway, does anybody here know who this autograph session is with? Does anybody else know what I Am talking about?

Looking at the floor plan, it looks like they have moved things around. The merchandise booths have shifted toward the Water Street wall and autograph booths are now by the Columbus Drive wall. I notice that the floor plans also do not list who the vendors are.

Great!!

Goose Gossage,Tony LaRussa will be there! But i'm wondering about Sunday with that "Fastpitch Softball skills" with the Chicago Bandits, will Jennie Finch will be there too? That would be the icing on the cake!!

But overall, looks like a super weekend at SoxFest!

Interesting that they have Jaime Burke scheduled to sign autographs on Friday. I like the guy and all, but didn't they just designate him for assignment?

Did I read that right that the only Q & A is on Saturday? :(:

Edit: Nevermind. I see one on Sunday.

There's one on Sunday 12:00 - 12:45.

It works well because Steff said she might not make it if they had it on Friday night.

Now she can wave her finger at KW on Saturday and Sunday! :tsk:

I haven't been to one of these in years, I'm going Friday for the first time since High School. How long is the waits for autographs? Espeically from big names like Konerko?

Wow, the timing of the Saturday Q&A session sucks.

It's right at the same time Garcia and Pierzynski will be signing and just before Tony Larussa.

Those are three guys that will be drawing lines early... :(:

Can be upwards of 2-3 hours depending on when you get in line. You either get there really early and wait a couple of hours to be the first in line, or you get there late and wait a couple of hours because you're at the end of the line...

I notice Aaron Rowand's name is not listed on Friday's schedule. I guess that means he'll be one of the people involved in the Friday VIP autograph sessions.

Ahh yes...Viva decided to play Sherlock Holmes just like me.

Judging by the schedule, I'm guessing it's Everett and Rowand in the VIP session Friday.

I noticed on the Friday night line-up that there is no opening night Q & A with Kenny and Ozzie like there was last year. Am I missing something?

Looks like they're doing it Saturday & Sunday afternoons instead. Maybe they think the crowd will be more docile than last year's Friday night Q&A

Also, I bet they don't want the lead of Saturday's sports sections to be like last year's.

I've got a friend that lives at 400 N. LaSalle (at Kinzie). $6 parking nights and weekends if you don't mind a little walk

So now that everyone has had a chance to check out the schedule, what is on everyone's agenda for the weekend? I'm one that likes to plan out when and where I want to be each day.

Having gone the last couple of years both helps and hurts me. It helps because I've already met a lot of the guys like Konerko, Crede, Rowand, etc... It hurts because some of the guys I haven't met are paired up with the guys that I have.

Dye, Podsednik, Garcia and Pierynski are four I definetly want to see. Of course they had to schedule those four all on Saturday with times quite close to each other. Baines is another guy that I've somehow missed the past couple of years.

I hope to make it to both Q&A sessions as well.
