I am starting work on another Sox book, this one about the 1977 South Side Hit Men. Any fan who has an great memory he/she wants to talk about, you can contact me at my e-mail. Also I will have a booth at SoxFest but I don't know how much time I will have to talk then.

What I am looking for is memories of actual games attended, but not just about the action on the field. I would like to know about the electric atmosphere at the ball park. Whatever the memory, I need first hand accounts.

Fan stories are very powerful in a book. I would like to hear from anyone interested.

Thanks for any help you can give. I may not be able to use all fan accounts because of space. However, I want to use as many as possible. Sometimes fans have the clearest memories and make the best historians.

I self-published "Through Hope and Despair - A Fan's Memories of the Chicago White Sox 19679-1997" in 2001. Arcadia Publishing released "Chicago White Sox 1959 and Beyond," in 2004. Both are on Amazon and the second one is at most Borders. Do you have any 1977 memories?
