Have they signed a deal yet with: Dish Network, Direct TV, or Mediacom in Iowa?

As far as Directv goes, Comcast sports Chicago is on channel 640. FSN is officially off the air.

Looks like I have to decide between Dish and Direct then....

Is Comcast Chicago a digital feed or can it possibly get an HD feed?

thanks

From what I heard from my boss (who has Dish Network), Comcast is not providing Comcast SportsNet in HD for people who don't have Comcast Digital Cable. Which is B.S.

Yes, I believe Erik is correct, but that's so lame, and I think Comcast offers the non-HD version in ugly analog while the satellite companies are digital

I know this is kinda off topic a little bit, but has anyone heard anything else on the possibility of Comcast buying out J.R. and the WhiteSox. I know it was posted a few months ago and was discussed a little bit but I haven't heard anything since so I was just wondering if anyone else had.

I wonder what fan reaction to such a move would be. After the elation dies down (Ding Dong, JR is dead...), would incessant hand-wringing and worry plague Sox fandom once more? I can easily imagine an evil-you-know vs. evil-you-don't-know situation...

Comcast already owns the Sixers and the Flyers, why not add a baseball team!!

I'd take my chances. 25 years is quite a long time. 1/3rd of a life for most folks. Unfortunately, not for JR's life.
