Cubs RHP Chris Gissell was tagged for 4 runs (3 earned) in 3 innings and suffered the loss.


Borchard sat out in favor of Nic Jackson, who went 2-4 with a run scored and a double.

Tim Hummel played 2nd, and batted 2nd, going 0-5 to drop his avg to .286.

Sox RF Mario Valenzuela was 2-4 with 2 runs scored and an RBI double.

Cubs LF David Kelton was 1-3 also with an RBI double and a walk.

Rockies 3b Ryan Owens was 2-4 with 2 RBI.

I've heard his name a few times in your reports, any idea what his numbers for the Fall look like so far?

Duke, Nic Jackson is designated as a Wednesday/Saturday player only, meaning he only sees action on those days. There are 6 outfielders, with David Kelton and Borchard usually starting in LF and CF respectively.

Borchard has played 10 of the 15 games.
