Carl Everett? What the heck is second place? Lunch with Albert Belle?

I would relish the chance to pick Carl's brain.

He's got some interesting views on life.

I saw this, it was posted in the Daily Links section of "The Sports Guy" webpage. I certainly got a kick out of it.

I would think that that would be the most awkward meeting ever. What would you say to him? Why did they pick Everett? He doesn't seem like the type to do something like that.

:everett:
"Please no dinosaurs."

If I win, I know what I'll be bringing for Carl's breakfast...

I think Carl has become a lot nicer guy since joining the Sox in 2003 and then returning. He always gives me an autograph and I guess he volunteered for this.

Just make sure not to go anywhere near the Field Museum...

I've heard from some people that Carl is actually a pretty personable guy, and he's pretty nice. That being said, I wouldn't mind winning that contest.

Judging by his appearance, he's not one to turn down a free meal.

I think I'd rather have breakfast with Joe Borchard. Then again, he'd probably try to cut his food and miss the plate.

If it's at a Mexican restaurant, will they ask him to leave?

Third place: Lunch with Harold Baines.
Winner, let us know if he says anything.

I would bring a book I found at a local store. It's a book on why dinosaurs fit even with the Bible.

With proceeds going to charities, the cause is noble.

However, I would not want to get that up close and personal with Carl Everett, or anybody else whom I really cannot relate to and do not know.

I would feel differently if I had a kid who was a fan of Carl. Then it would be worthwhile.

On the other hand, if any Sox player (or anyone for that matter) wanting to share a few arm-benders, then I'm there. :gulp:
