Moose Skowron will be there. That guy is everywhere. He's so desperate for work, he'll dress up as a clown and work your kid's birthday party on the weekend.

Of course, local White Sox dignitaries and old standouts such as Minnie Minoso, Bill Melton, Moose Skowron, Billy Pierce, Carlos May, Ron Kittle and Kevin Hickey will be in attendance. Roland Hemond also is scheduled to make the journey from the warmth of Arizona to the frigid conditions of Chicago.

Actually that was a dancing Richard Simmons which is much much scarier than Gene Simmons...even with the Kiss makeup on. That would bounce Everett into shape in no time

I know people have talked about last minute additions, but have you ever ran into players that were not mentioned at all in the press releases? The reason I ask is because I am bringing some baseball cards and was wondering if I needed to bring some random extras-perhaps players who live in the area that aren't on the list. On a different note, I obviously don't have any AJ Sox cards but I thought I could bring a deck of White Sox playing cards for him to sign.

Just saw this on www.whitesox.com (http://www.whitesox.com), A.J. Pierzynski and Goose Gossage will be appearing at SoxFest 2005. There are still are no schedules for who's there on any given day, though.

Sweet, AJ is sure making a great impression here with his open interviews and first appearance. Plus anyone that comes to Chicago in January is brave.

Koch made a great impression with fans before he actually pitched, as I recall.

Koch was still a class act though. When he blew his last save this year he took all of the blame, while on the other side of town Latroy Hawkins had just blown a save and then refused to talk to the media because he was so upset with his own failures.

Gossage, huh? Is this so we can thank him for our favorite Robin Ventura (and for some, overall White Sox) memory? He is the poor soul who gave up the Grand Salami to Robin on 7-31-91.

He was also a great pitcher to watch when he was on our side.

Nice to see 'Goose' returning. I saw one of his first games with the Sox in early June 1972. He had some great seasons. Did you know the Sox were so short of pitching in 1976 that they made him a starter?

Now THAT's a question to ask him!

I really wished he would have pitched better and been able to keep his job with the Sox. A class act he truly is and you pointed to a great reaon why.

Huh? You want us to ask him if he knew they made him a starter in 1976? Do I follow that question up with "AWESOME!!!" done in the style of Chris Farley?
