Mesa officially blows, they lost again 7-3. Seems the Cubs prospects, Hummel, and Guerrier are the only ones who bother showing up.

Borchard was 1-4 with a run scored tonight, and DH'ed for the first time this year.

Mets 1b Earl Snyder hit a solo HR.

The other two runs scored on Cubs C Ryan Jorgensen's 2 run single.

Hummel got the day off.

Cubs LF David Kelton was 2-4 with a run scored.


Hank Blalock and Drew Henson took turns kicking Mesa's ass. Henson was 2-4 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI. Blalock 2-5 with 2 runs.

no, the manager is Chris Cron from the Rockies, the coaches are Pat Listasch of the Cubs, and some other guy from the Mets (last name: Stanley).
