Didn't they do that once or twice or three times before? It seems like he's always in and out of the Indians farm system

best of luck to him anyways...unfortunate how injuries can ruin a career. at least he keeps on trying to come back.

Maybe he'll pull a Cal Eldred and havea greatyear. I can't belieev Eldred is still pitching in the bigs after everything he went through.

I truly believe that if not for injuries, Bere could have been one of the top pitchers in the league for a long time. Those years he put in '93 and '94 were a perfect example of what could have been for that guy's career. It was all down hill after the chronic elbow problems.

Bere must almost feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. Every offseason, the Indians are there to sign him to another minor league deal.:tongue:
