I know we have 6 million saved from dropping C Lee, but what about all that money we offered Mags what happened to that?

It's in Reinsdorf's pocket, where it will remain.

The money we offered Mags is split up between Garcia and Contreras.

Remember, a lot of players with multi-year contracts get raises each year. . .

A number of Players were DUE RAISES and the SOX have to pay for them.
That of course brought on a FLURRY of threads debating if the SOX pay
for the Raises, they are basically RAISING PAYROLL. I and others here
basically said just paying for Raises isnt Really "Raising" payroll and moreover
is just Ignoring holes in your team. Well, we see where the SOX
went regarding this dilemma didnt we?
They simply Got RID of the Players that were Due Raises!
Look for 2005 to be Mark Buehrles Last season as a SOX.

Haven't we gone over this at least once a week?

Garcia, Dye, Contreras, Hermanson, plus raises to remaining players is more than Magglio's 14 million.

Once Uncle Jerry Salary Dumps Buehrle after 2005, The SOX will say they
were Trying to Fill the Leadoff/Second Base hole not filled since Ray Durham ........

one of the mods should make it one of those "stuck" threads so maybe people will stop asking about it!

True, if it was brought up last month. However, it seems that not less than a week ago this same question was posed and people still think the money is going into JR's pockets. I know that Reinsdorf is the root of all evil, but c'mon...

Buehrle is signed thrun 2007. From last December:
"White Sox signed LHP Mark Buehrle to a three-year, $18 million contract with an option for 2007."
