Anyone thinking of buying any of this stuff? I am thinking of buying a shirt or a hat. It might eventually be worth something and it would be cool to have. I hear Seattle Pilots gear is pretty popular.

That's the first thing I thought of, too! I might get a T-shirt of the team that never was! It probably won't be worth much, but I'm sure they'll be pulled off the market if the Nationals don't stay in D.C.

Heck yeah. I'm gonna get a hat this weekend.

I swear, this better not be some sort of big hoax/publicity stunt so we can all buy merch by the dozen!

My Dad happened to be in DC this week and picked up 4 hats and a couple Jerseys in the airport. I doubt it will be worth anything, but it'll be a fun souvenir to have.

I "bought" two practice hooded sweat shirts and two t-shirts.

Only one hoody shipped while the two tee's were put on backorder.

Now that MLB suspended marketing and merchandising operations, I'll only see my order filled if the Nationals survive the 31 December deadline (unlikely), though I have yet to verify that with the MLB/merchandise customer service. When I email customer service, all I ever get is a automated response (I hate those). I tried calling yesterday so I could talk to a live human being to inquiry my order, but couldn't get through.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

In terms of Nats hats, the red "home" hats that were unveiled last month looked like the same hats the Senators wore before they left town in 1971. Any kind of retro gear you can imagine is available somewhere on earth these days. Nats stuff may be rare, but I doubt it will have any high monetary value in the forseeable future (barring any crazed late night runaway bidding on eBay, for example).

I just got my road cap in the mail today, t-shirt on backorder.
