I know it would be a longshot, but how strange would that be. Bad news for Cubs fans as well, Carlos will be kicking their asses a lot more now.

I think they're already at their payroll limit. They wont be signing Maggs even if they're not.

Mike Caruso never hit like Scott Podsednik at any point. Mike Caruso was never as fast as Scott Podsednik at any point. Mike Caruso couldn't play defense as well as Scott Podsednik at any point.
Why are we remembering Mike Caruso?

The comparison isn't as inaccurate as you think. First of all, Caruso was a highly rated minor leaguer, Podsednik was not. Caruso hit .293 over his minor league career, Podsednik hit .265. As a rookie, Caruso hit .306 with a .331 OBP for the Sox, then fell off the face of the Earth. Podsednik hit .314/.379 his rookie year, but needs to prove it wasn't a one year fluke- which it would appear to be based on the rest of his minor league stats.

I really hope the Brew Crew outrights Ginter to the Minors in the next few days...I'm wanting him more and more to be in this deal.
